Prof. Daniel K. B. Inkoom is a Professor of Planning at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, and a Visiting Associate Professor at the School of Architecture and Planning, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is also a faculty member of the International Gestalt Organisation and Leadership Development (iGOLD) Programme, Arizona, USA.

Prof. Inkoom serves on the Editorial Board of the Urban Forum journal and the International Advisory Committee of the Southern Urbanism MPhil Programme at the African Centre for Cities (ACC), University of Cape Town, South Africa.

His social and community engagements include membership of the Governing Boards of ActionAid Ghana (AAG), the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), and KITE LBG (previously, the Kumasi Institute of Technology, Energy, and Environment).

Prof. Inkoom is a Fellow of the Ghana Institute of Planners (FGIP) and has been educated in institutions in Ghana, Germany, Finland, Norway, and the United States of America.
