AREED promoted energy-efficient and clean technologies in rural and peri-urban Ghana, empowering SMEs to deliver modern energy services while promoting poverty reduction.

• Delivered training and capacity-building programs for entrepreneurs.
• Facilitated end-user financing for clean energy equipment.
• Conducted field visits to monitor business impact.
• Engaged microfinance institutions to support energy enterprise financing.

Outcome:
AREED strengthened energy access, expanded SME growth, and created sustainable energy-driven livelihoods in rural Ghana.
